If web 2.0 was user generated content and community, then web 3.0 is using that content and community in the real world to make a difference.

That's what we do.

JUST CAUSE will provide the tools for individuals and groups to host events and fundraisers for organizations.

JUST CAUSE will, along with its sponsors and partner magazines, hold events and fundraisers across the country that will both raise money for and educate people about a variety of causes.

The JUST CAUSE website will feature a comprehensive database of organizations and individuals who are working on behalf of a cause. This database will be searchable by location, method and cause. It will be a way for organizations to connect with individuals.

The JUST CAUSE website will host comprehensive national and local calendars of fundraising events and volunteer opportunities. These calendars are searchable by cause, location and date.

The JUST CAUSE website will facilitate the dissemination of information through periodic opt-in newsletters about causes. These will be offered from JUST CAUSE, as well as from sponsors, bloggers, organizations, and groups on an opt-in basis.

JUST CAUSE is not just a magazine. It is a brand built on a fully interactive “new media” movement. Our magazine will invite people into an interactive, fully engaged, experience. But an invitation is only as good as the event it represents. We invite users to become part of an engaged and active online community built around a shared desire to make the world a better place. It's kinda like Online Social networking, but being online is only part of it - doing something "real" is the main point.

The JUST CAUSE website will feature expanded artistic and editorial coverage for the stories in the Magazine. The editorial portion of the site will feature links to further resources about the
issues discussed.

The JUST CAUSE website will host
a “blogosphere” type community-building section that will allow individuals to build blogs – including video-on-demand capabilities and direct donation capabilities – around the causes that move them. This will function, in many ways, like Judy’s Book, Tribe.net and MySpace, providing a way for individuals to be heard, learn from each other and connect around common causes. They will also be able to create events and manage everything from invites to rsvps, registration, donations and post to a global, searchable calendar of events. The blogs will be hosted by individuals, organizations and the CSR departments of companies of
all sizes.

JUST CAUSE will provide tools for individuals to create groups around causes on a granular level, enabling the aggregation of passion into action.
